Simon Roper CO91 Visits from Canada

It was great to welcome Simon Roper CO91 back to the School this term for a visit. Simon attended Truro School from 1984 to 1991, before going on to the University of Manchester to study Biology and Biochemistry. A master’s degree in Computer Science then led to a job in the computer games industry. Simon now lives in Vancouver, Canada, where he works as a Senior Engineer at Meta.

Simon had fond memories of his teachers and friends, including Mr Jim Clark (Head of Chemistry 1974–97) and friends such as James Eddy CO91, Jamie Banwell CO91, David Dixon CO91, Justin Moore CO91, Simon Eckersall CO91, Julian Greenhalgh CO91 and Chris Caulfield CO91.

We look forward to hopefully welcoming Simon back to the school in the future.
