The Forbes-Hamilton Family Visit Prep

We welcomed back Ian and Richard Forbes-Hamilton to Truro School Prep over the summer. Ian was at Prep from the late 1980s before moving up to Year 7. Richard attended the Prep from the late 1980s until 1992. They were joined by their sister Fiona, who also almost joined her brothers, but the family relocated to Devon before she could start.

Ian and Richard had great memories of school, including lessons in the Design and Technology classrooms, swimming lessons, playing in the adventure playground, computer lessons, and so much more. This was helped by the fact that their parents had recorded so much of their childhood in photos and journals.

Today Ian and Richard both work in creative careers. Ian is a game accessibility specialist, and Richard is an interdisciplinary artist.
