Prep Sports Round Up 02.04.26

With Book Week taking centre stage this week, our Prep pupils have still managed to make a splash in the pool.

Starting the week, a vibrant atmosphere filled the pool in the afternoon as the Year 3 swimmers competed in the Year 3 House Gala. Children were able to choose up to five events, with options across all four strokes, as well as a fins and board race. There were some very close races, plenty of determination, and lots of smiles throughout the session.

Well done to Wickett for gaining the highest number of points overall. Congratulations also to our new Victor and Victrix, Theo R and Arabella C-F.

Our Year 2 swimming gala was a fantastic event filled with enthusiasm, determination, and plenty of smiles! The children confidently took part in front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke, and even bravely attempted butterfly.

Each swimmer also completed a final length in a stroke of their choice, showing independence and growing confidence in the water. It was truly a joy to watch and a celebration of their hard work and achievement.
