The Truro School Art Collection Film

We are delighted to share this video by Louise Brett which reflects on the Truro School Art Collection and its exhibition at the Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery in early 2024.

The Truro School Art Collection is a true asset to Truro School and it continues to be a brilliant educational resource for students, as well as a source of intrigue and inspiration for artists and art enthusiasts across the Cornish and wider community. David Heseltine, former Head of Art, had the insight to begin the Collection in the 1980s with the aim of building a resource for all students to learn from ‘real art’.

This film reflects on the exhibition The Truro School Art Collection Goes on an Outing held at the Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery from Tuesday 30 January – Saturday 18 May 2024. It includes insight from David Heseltine and curator Henrietta Boex.
