U18 Netball in National Cup Quarter Final

The U18 netball team took to the SBA Show Court on Friday 6 February to contest their National Cup quarter final, hosting a strong side from Guildford in front of a vocal home crowd.

With centre pass at 1pm, the show court was buzzing as around 100 pupils gathered to support the team, including girls from across the school who have taken part in netball clubs and WAA activities. Staff and Sixth Form students also joined the crowd, creating an electric atmosphere for this high-stakes national fixture.

The team delivered a committed and determined performance, backed by loud and enthusiastic support from the stands, making full use of home advantage on the red-lined show court.

Result: Truro School 24 – 25 Guildford

The match capped off a significant few days for girls’ sport at the school, with the U16 hockey team travelling to Nottingham later in the weekend to continue their own National Cup campaign.
