Kernow Rising 2026 at Hall for Cornwall

Truro School was proud to take part in Kernow Rising, Hall for Cornwall’s Secondary School Creative Arts Showcase 2026, celebrating the very best of young Cornish talent.

Pupils from the Junior Drama Club took to the stage and presented The Piskies of Penwith, an original piece written and directed by Mrs Hood. Their lively performance captivated the audience, sharing a humorous and enchanting tale of Cornwall’s mischievous piskies with energy, confidence, and charm.

The annual event brought together pupils from secondary schools across the duchy, showcasing original dance and drama pieces created by Cornwall’s next generation of performers and nurtured by dedicated teachers.
