We are looking forward to the annual Chorister Experience Day and Cushion Concert at Truro Cathedral, running from 12.15 – 15.30 on Saturday 31 January.
The event, open to girls and boys in Years 2, 3 or 4, is a fantastic opportunity to find out what life is like as a choister at Truro Cathedral.
During the day, children will get to know the choristers and find out what they do, stand in the beautiful choir stalls, explore the crypt where they rehearse, try on a chorister’s cassock and surplice and hear the mighty cathedral organ being played close up.
Of course, they will also learn music and sing along with the choristers, culminating in performing in a concert along with them.
You can find out more about the chorister programme here, alongside information about the Chorister Experience Day.
