Salary: £32,996 to £39,133pa (dependent on skills and experience).

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information across Truro School and its associated charitable and commercial entities. The postholder will lead on monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and statutory accounts, while supporting budget holders, auditors and regulatory submissions. This role also provides cover across the Finance team, contributes to forecasting and treasury management, and supports charitable activities including Gift Aid, bursaries and donations.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Operations Manager to join our busy Operations team. The Assistant Operations Manager will be directly responsible for providing effective and efficient organisation of administration within the busy transport, operations and estates departments.
The role will involve managing the school’s daily transport requirements and overseeing the school fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, well maintained and available to meet operational needs. The postholder will take a proactive and hands-on approach to fleet operations, including carrying out regular vehicle inspections, arranging servicing and repairs, and driving school vehicles when required to support transport and operational demands.
This role is a permanent position working full time, 37.5 hours per week.
The working hours will be:
· During term time: Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 5:15pm, Friday 7:45am – 4:15pm or 8:45am – 5:15pm- with a 1-hour unpaid break.
· During the holiday period: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (times can be flexible during holiday periods) – with a 1-hour unpaid break.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpenter to join our dynamic Estates team. Our successful candidate will be an integral and key member of the maintenance staff, jointly responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the School’s woodwork, carpentry and associated equipment.
Working within a team led by the Senior Tradesperson, the purpose of this post is to repair and renew without supervision the carpentry related fixtures and fittings within the School.
This role is a permanent position working full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Friday 8.00am – 4:00pm

Truro School is offering an exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Head (Pastoral) and Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our Senior Leadership Team.
We are seeking a committed and experienced leader to take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the School, alongside strategic oversight of attendance. With a long history of educational success in Cornwall and a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing, Truro School is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment in which every child can thrive.
The successful candidate will bring the skills and experience to lead safeguarding and attendance across the School, advising the Head and Deputy Head (Pastoral) on policy and practice and contributing to strategic development. We are looking for a friendly and motivated Receptionist who plays a critical role in providing a first-class experience to community members, prospective members and visitors to the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre.
This role is the first point of contact for customer enquiries and will assist the Duty Manager by providing effective and efficient administrative support. It is also a requirement that this role provide lifeguard trained assistance to the poolside team when responding to emergencies.
The receptionist role will be working 27.5 hours a week and the shifts are:
Monday – Friday: 3:45pm – 9:45pm with a 30-minute unpaid break
There are two lifeguard shifts which will take your total hours to 30 hours per week, these are:
Wednesday and Thursday: 2:30pm – 3:45pm
If you don’t not hold a lifeguard qualification but are willing to do so, we can support you with the training.

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Lifeguard to provide daily support to the Duty Manager in the effective operation of the pool at our Prep School and ensuring the safety of pool users by preventing and responding to emergencies. You’ll assist in making sure all facilities are safe and clean, and work as part of the lifeguard team in ensuring health and safety on the poolside, and provide first response to any rescue/first aid needs.
This role is permanent, part time, term time only and there are 19 hours available.
The shifts available are (please apply and specify which shifts you are available to do)
· Monday: 3:15pm – 4:45pm.
· Tuesday: 8:45am – 11:45am and 2:15pm – 4:45pm
· Wednesday: 8:45am – 3:15pm with a 30 minutes unpaid break
