21 Hours per week / Permanent / Term Time Only
Salary: £14.14 per hour (this includes holiday pay)
The shift pattern is (includes split shifts)-
· Monday – Wednesday: 6:15am – 9:15am.
· Thursday AM shift: 6:15am – 9:15am – PM shift: 4:30pm – 7:30pm
· Friday AM shift: 6:15am – 9:15am – PM shift: 3:30pm – 6:30pm
Start Date: October 2025
The Minibus Driver is primarily responsible for driving pupils to and from School daily during term time and pupils and staff on occasional journeys on request. They are responsible for the operating condition and cleanliness of the vehicles to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
The successful candidates must be a clean, D1 licence holder and be willing to under a Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme Course (MIDAS).

We’re looking for a proactive and committed Operations Manager to play a key role in our vibrant and thriving Prep School. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running Truro School Prep from a support services perspective. This includes overseeing catering, facilities, utilities and other support services that enable the school to function effectively for both pupils and staff.
The role is a balance of hand-on work and strategic planning – not only managing the day-to-day operations but also proactively planning ahead to support the demands of our busy and dynamic school calendar. This includes preparing for events, term transitions, seasonal activities and ensuring all operational aspects are aligned with the boarder needs of the school community.
The individual will be practical, calm under pressure, solutions-focussed and able to adapt to the varied and sometimes unpredictable demands of school life. Strong organisational skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to upcoming operational needs are essential.
This role is a permanent position working full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Friday 7.30am – 4:00pm.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join our dedicated and skilled Estates delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations through the caretaking team, and a team of trades carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Truro School has two superb locations in Truro, the Prep site and the Senior Site, both with excellent facilities and unique educational environments. This role is critical to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of these levels of excellence.
This role is a permanent position working full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Friday 8.00am – 4:30pm.

Full Time / Permanent / All Year Round
Salary: £24,668 to £27,635pa (dependent on skills and experience)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gardener to join our dynamic Gardens and Grounds team. Our successful candidate will have good knowledge of plant identification and horticultural techniques as well as an interest and passion for the outdoors and natural environment. A horticultural qualification is not mandatory but relevant experience in either grounds maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
Working within a team led by the Head Gardener, the purpose of this post is to provide a pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environment for the school community to enjoy all year-round. Alongside grounds and garden maintenance, the post holder will, from time to time, be asked to assist with setting up for functions, car parking duties, minibus driving, security, and minor building maintenance.
This role will be the sole gardener based at the Prep School site, giving you responsibility for maintaining its outdoor spaces to a high standard, while also being a valued member of the wider gardening team across both the Prep and Senior School sites.
