Wednesday Afternoons have taken photography to a new level, with pupils learning new skills and discovering how to capture and edit professional-quality photos using cameras and other commercial equipment.
This week, the group has been learning about shutter speeds and experimenting with movement photography. They explored the school grounds, capturing moving objects against stationary backgrounds. Some pupils positioned themselves in the car park to photograph vehicles in motion, while others focused on droplets falling from the water fountain. Alongside their photography work, they have also been developing teamwork skills, posing for each other’s photos and experimenting with movement in their shots.
Our popular Wednesday Afternoon Activities programme allows all pupils to take a break from their regular timetable to participate in enjoyable activities that help them learn new skills or develop existing ones.
