Design & Build Committee Visit Site

The Design & Build Committee stepped onto the construction site of Truro School’s new Music Centre, gaining valuable insight into the technical aspects of its development.

Equipped with hi-vis vests and hard hats, the team toured the site with Classic Builders’ Project Manager, James, who provided a detailed overview of the groundwork processes. Pupils explored key construction considerations, including radon management, insulation standards, and the requirements for concrete foundations. With the build progressing steadily, it was an incredible opportunity to see engineering and design principles in action.
