Year 6 Chapelporth circular walk

Over the last few weeks Year 6 have been going out in their form groups to walk a circular route starting in Chapelporth, taking them up to St Agnes Beacon and back along the coastpath to Chapelporth car park. The young explorers experienced the rugged coastpath, splashed through puddles, picked blackberries, climbed on the ruins that dot the cliffs, all while having the chance to bond.

Cornwall has a rich history in tin and copper mining and this was an opportunity to learn about their local surroundings. The experience will also go towards the Year 6 diploma, completed in modules throughout the year.
