Year 6 Bake Off at Senior School

Truro School Prep Year 6 pupils have been welcomed to Truro School Cookery at the Senior site as part of their Bake Off challenge, led by Mrs Knight and hosted by Mr Rosenthal and the Cookery School team.

This week marks the start of a series of baking projects that will see Prep pupils using the professional facilities of the Cookery School over a six-week period, as part of their food technology and Modern Foreign Languages learning. The sessions will include baking activities themed around Spanish, German, and French cuisine.

This week, cakes were baked and next week, pupils will return to decorate them – and a winning baker will be chosen!

We look forward to sharing more from this exciting project, which not only supports the Year 6 transition to the Senior School but also gives Prep pupils the chance to experience the breadth of our specialist facilities.
