Our Year 3 children ventured to Daubuz Moor as part of their humanities topic on water and rivers.
Located in the heart of Truro, this six-hectare haven of streams, wetlands, and meadows is a perfect outdoor classroom. Applying their classroom knowledge to the real world, the children observed how rivers meander, identified signs of erosion and deposition, and explored the diverse plant life and shapes of the riverbanks.
They were excellent ambassadors for the school and were respectful of this beautiful wild space. Many remarked how keen they were to return with their families to enjoy the peace of this stunning local beauty spot.
