To mark Mental Health Awareness Week (12 – 18 May 2025), our pupils at Truro School Prep have taken part in their very own Wellbeing Week.
Throughout the week, they have been keeping journals, participating in Pilates sessions, and going on mindfulness walks. During PE and swimming lessons, they enjoyed team-building games, and in singing assembly, Mrs Renshaw explained how singing is a wonderful activity for supporting mental health.
Kindness was a strong theme throughout the week, and the Great Kindness Spotting Challenge further supported our wellbeing through acts of service to others.
We hope that by experiencing such a variety of beneficial activities, the children will be equipped with vital skills to support their mental and physical wellbeing in the future.
We would like to thank Mrs Millne and all of the staff and volunteers who gave up their time to deliver these important tools for life to our incredible pupils.
