Truro Cathedral Chorister Day

Truro Cathedral was filled with the sound of joyful voices as they hosted the annual Chorister Experience Day on Saturday, 18 January 2025.

The day is designed to give children who share a love of singing and music the chance to experience what life may be like as a part of the Truro Cathedral Choir.

During the day, pupils from Years 2, 3 and 4 had the chance to chat with our current choristers, try on a chorister’s cassock and surplice and experience what it is like to hear the cathedral organ play and sing in such an inspiring space.

At the end of the day, the Cathedral hosted a marvellous Cushion Concert, led by the current choristers, who the aspiring choristers joined to create some wonderful musical performances.
