Tales from the Tides – Book Group

There was animated discussion and tales of exciting beach finds in the library this week, as the Tuesday Book Club read extracts from ‘The Draw of the Sea’ by Wyl Menmuir, ahead of his much-anticipated visit next week.

The beautifully written and soul-stirring journey along the Cornish coast sparked a wave of inspirational conversations among pupils about their own relationships with the coast, where we live, and the treasures that wash up on our shores.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Wyl Menmuir to Truro School next week to continue the conversations in person.

Book Club is held in the Library every Tuesday at 4pm for 1st-3rd Years.
