Talent in Abundance at the Junior House Music Finals

There was some incredible talent at last night’s Junior House Music Finals. Showcasing a wide array of instruments and styles, our finalists took to the stage to share their musical skills, wowing the audience with their courage and ability.

There was singing from LTL, Sheba and Kes, two stunning violin and viola solos from Victoria and some incredible drum, cornet, saxophone, guitar and piano pieces performed across the evening.

It was an incredibly hard job to choose a winner for guest adjudicator Jeffrey Williams. He praised the courage, diversity and skill on show. He gave the pupils tips on their performances, before awarding 1st place for the ensemble to LTL, 3rd place solo to George for School House, 2nd place to Kes for School House and 1st place to Victoria for her stunning version of Canzonetta 2nd Movement by Tchaikovsky, representing Smith House.

A huge well done to all of our performers and a big thank you to our adjudicator, accompanists, and to Mr Thomson, Mrs Wilkinson and Mr Palmer for the hard work, enthusiasm and support they bring to these events.
