Summer Solstice Celebrated

Pre-Prep children saw in the Summer Solstice last week in a joyful celebration of the sun. Standing in a circle, staff and pupils gave thanks for our amazing sun, waving orange and golden streamers as they danced to sunshine music and sang ‘the sun has got his hat on’.

When asked why the sun was good, the children said, ‘The sun gives us warmth, the sun gives us joy, the sun brightens up our day, the sun helps things in our world to grow.” Well done to all of our amazing rays of sunshine here in Truro School, and happy summer solstice from all at Truro School Prep.
