On Thursday 14th October, 14 Year 4 pupils set off to Plymouth to compete in their annual rugby festival.
This was Year 4’s first away fixture of the year and one they were all very excited about. The round-robin festival saw them play Stover, Plymouth, Exeter School, and Mount Kelly. Two Truro teams played, and the standard of rugby was high, with both our teams trying to play good running rugby.
The festival was the first time many of our pupils had played rugby, and it was fantastic to see them approach the day with curiosity and courage and leave with smiling faces. The day was a great success and much enjoyed by both the pupils and parents who travelled with us to support us.
