Promoting a love of problem solving

The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) yearly Intermediate Mathematical Challenge took place yesterday morning for 124 entrants from 3rd-5th Year.

The Challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.

The problems on the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge are designed to make students think.
