Starting the week off by being ‘water smart’, our lucky Prep children had a visit from Sam and Tom from the RNLI.
They talked to the pupils about staying safe on the beach, what to do if they saw someone in trouble and what to do if they got into trouble themselves.
Every pupil was given a guide to being ‘water smart’ with four easy tips to stay safe and have fun:
1) stop and think
2) stay together
3) float
4) call 999 or 112
A huge thank you to Sam and Tom for this brilliant and useful assembly that got the Summer Term off to the perfect start.
