This week saw an engaging two days of careers discussions and exploration for Sixth Form students, with sessions focused on post-18 options.
Truro School was delighted to welcome alumni Warwick Roydon (CO12), Sam Poppy (CO24), and Alfie Lobb (CO21), along with representatives from Exeter University, Falmouth University, the University of Bath, and Cardiff University. Together, they delivered talks covering a wide range of pathways, including university, apprenticeships, gap years, Army careers, and entrepreneurship. Sessions also delved into university-specific topics such as student finance, personal statements, student life, and creative courses.
We hope these sessions proved informative and have given our Sixth Form students plenty to consider as they begin to shape their future career paths.
