National writing award for Tilly

Gold award for Tilly in national poetry writing competition

Huge congratulations to 2nd Year Tilly who has won a Gold Award in the Anne Frank Poetry Writing Competition. This was a national competition with well over 1000 entries, judged by Booker Prize winner Bernardine Evaristo and Anthony Anaxagorou, and she was one of the top six of her age group, an amazing achievement. Tilly was awarded a number of books, including a personally signed copy of ‘The Promise’ by Eva Schloss.

Furthermore, she was also highly commended for her short story which she submitted to the short story competition.
