Truro School took to the water at Swanpool Beach in Falmouth this Wednesday for the Water Sports Wednesday Afternoon Activity.
Run by Elemental UK, the activity provides coaching and tuition in a range of water-based activities, including kayaking, coasteering and stand-up paddle boarding.
This week, our pupils were on the giant SUPs, gaining valuable skills to improve their techniques. The group included novices and more confident paddle boarders; sessions are structured to allow every level to gain confidence and improve.
This is just one of the fantastic activities on offer as part of the School’s weekly timetable. The WAAs are vital in allowing students and pupils to develop healthy lifestyles, learn or develop skills, and grow in confidence, have fun and gain skills that will help them for life beyond the classroom.
