Our Leiths students have been hard at work planning, designing, preparing and serving their ‘tastes of the world’ afternoon tea to an invited audience.
“Our afternoon tea boxes have been designed to show how the globe has pulled together to get through these strange times. We wanted to include as many different cuisines as we could to celebrate the strength and unity shown by everyone in 2020.”
The menu, which is served as part of the assessed part of the Leiths Certificate in Food and Wine and the CTH Level 3 Certificate in Professional Cookery, included 12 canapes from seven different countries including Japan, France and Italy, with five sweet and seven savoury delicacies.
We can confirm that they tasted absolutely delicious!
