Lanterns of Light for Year 5

Year 5 pupils at Truro School Prep have been learning about global faiths and festivals as part of their seasonal celebrations. During a special session exploring the meaning of Ramadan, pupils gathered to create traditional lanterns, reflecting on themes of light, kindness and community.

The activity formed part of a wider programme that also recognised the period before Lent and Lunar New Year, encouraging pupils to appreciate different cultures and traditions.
