King’s Birthday Honour for Colin Groves CO80

Congratulations to Colin Groves CO80 on being appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours. This recognition reflects Colin’s outstanding contribution to business, philanthropy and sport over many years in the country.

Colin has spent the past 25 years primarily as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Tetra Laval. As a charted accountant, he has used his extensive corporate governance experience across the sports, technology and agriculture sectors.

He is also a professional director who sits on and chairs various NZ, US and UK boards ranging across investments companies, start-ups, high-performance sports, and agri-tech companies.

A past Chairman and current Vice President of Waikato Rugby and current Vice-President of Cornish Pirates.
