In a delicious and exciting first session, Year 3’s Food Technology lesson had a focus on making healthy adaptations to recipes. At first, pupils were a bit unsure when Mrs Knight suggested adding kale to cupcakes, but the combination of orange and kale turned out to be a resounding hit.
Pupils learned about how we can get nutrients from all kinds of foods and how they can creatively tweak traditional recipes to make them healthier. Well done to all of our pupils who showed great creativity, confidence (and courage with the kale)!
