Getting Stuck in, in Gardening Club

Our green-fingered Gardening Club group continued the task of de-weeding and clearing their raised beds this week. With the help of our school gardeners, the group has now turned the overgrown patches into the perfect place to grow fruit, vegetables, and flowers.

They have now started to think about what they’d like to grow in the beds. There was a wide range of ideas, from strawberries and blackcurrants to edible flowers.

We’re looking forward to seeing how the gardening patch develops over the next few months, as well as being able to try some of the fresh produce!
