There was “pancake mania” at Truro School Pre-Prep as Rev Helen guided our Year 1 pupils through a joyful celebration of Shrove Tuesday and the start of Lent.
Together, they explored the story of Jesus in the Wilderness and the three challenges Jesus faced, each requiring courage and wise choices. Through a carousel of engaging crafts and activities, the children delved deeper into the story, reflecting on how we can make good choices in our own lives and give thanks for the many blessings around us.
As the season of Lent begins, the countdown to Easter is now underway, and the whole Truro School community has been marking this special time together. Thank you to Rev Helen for helping our youngest pupils to discover the story, meaning, and traditions of Lent in a fun, memorable way.
