Drama Pupils Delve into Police Interviews

3rd Year drama pupils have been studying the play DNA, which explores some dark themes related to bullying. As part of their project 3rd Year witnessed some live interviews with the characters of the play being questioned by our local Youth & Missing Police Officer, PC Andy Filkins.  

Andy led very realistic interviews with some of our incredibly talented 3rd Year actors, delving into their characters’ stories and portraying very real-life police custody scenarios. It was fantastic to see how well the pupils understood the play and were able to fully immerse themselves in the roles. Andy also explained the various things that would happen during interviews, ending with a Q&A session where pupils could find out more information about the youth justice system.
