Charity Day at Truro School

It was a colourful first Charity Day of the year, as pupils, students and staff wore home clothes to school in return for a donation to our two chosen charities, All We Can, a Methodist relief and development charity, and Newquay Foodbank, who provide essential food and supplies for local people in crisis.

Pupils have been learning about the charities during Chapel presentations across the week, led by the Community Action Team (CAT), a student-led committee that researches and votes on which charities the school will support each term.

We are also collecting donations for the Newquay Foodbank, which can be given to form tutors and taken to the Chapel next week.
