Burrell Society Lecture Series- Peter Parks

We were delighted to welcome Peter Parks and Chris Campkin back into school to give another lecture as part of our Burrell Society Lecture Series.

Peter is a retired wildlife cameraman /director who has worked extensively with the BBC Natural History Unit and David Attenborough. He shared stories from his career and experiences as a wildlife photographer.

The pair also spoke about their current project in Charlestown, Ocean Surface Centre, which aims to help preserve ocean conservation by establishing and developing a world-class venue and research centre to remedy and record as many of those maritime sins of omission and commission as possible. As well as this, the team have used the latest technology to create a 3D experience of the ocean-based filming and digital displays.

A big thank you to Peter and Chris for taking the time to give a lecture!
