A Very Merry Christmas Fayre

This year’s Friends of Truro School (FTS) Christmas Fayre felt full of festive sparkle and wonder. As pupils and their families gathered at the Prep School, a palpable sense of excitement was in the air.

The Prep Assembly Hall was packed with some brilliant stalls including the ever-popular teddy tombola, the jam-jar stall, a Christmas decoration competition and some excellent games and stalls led by our Year 6 pupils.

Meanwhile, our Truro School Puppeteers, made up of talented pupils from Years 5, 6 and the 1st Year, put on some brilliant shows throughout the afternoon with lots of catchy Christmas songs and plenty of festive cheer.

Of course, no Christmas Fayre would be complete without a visit from the man himself, Father Christmas. Delighted pupils queued up to see him and his elves in the magical Christmas grotto.

We would like to thank our incredible FTS team for pulling together such an amazing fayre. Not only was it hugely enjoyable for all who attended, it raised funds for a number of charities including the Children’s Hospice South West. We will share the total amount raised in the New Year.
