4th Year Drama Pupils Impress with Performance

Our 4th Year GCSE Drama pupils delivered a captivating performance of rehearsed scenes from Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman in the Burrell Theatre. The event marked a significant milestone in their preparations for their upcoming GCSE assessments, offering them valuable experience performing in front of an audience.

The pupils, who have been dedicated to mastering their lines and refining their acting techniques, showed great maturity and skill as they brought the powerful themes of the play to life. For many, this performance served as a crucial trial run, allowing them to become familiar with the rigours of live theatre ahead of next year’s examiner-led presentations.

Guests were treated to a thought-provoking performance, and the atmosphere in the Lilly Room was warm and welcoming, with refreshments available before the show. Thank you to all who attended and supported our talented pupils in this important part of their drama journey.
