Vocal masterclass from an MBE

On Tuesday 21 January our Chamber Choir and Girl Choristers had a couple of exciting Masterclasses from Ralph Allwood MBE.

Ralph is one of the world’s leading authorities on young vocal ensembles and probably best known for directing the Eton Choral Courses which he founded in 1980, and The Rodolfus Choir, made up from the best singers on those courses. Many current and previous students have attended both.

We were very lucky that Ralph found time from his busy schedule to make the long trip down to Cornwall. I’m sure the students learnt a lot from his wealth of knowledge, they certainly looked like they were having fun. We look forward to having more students go on his beneficial courses and to continue building the relationship with one of the finest trainers of young voices.
