Hi, I’m Cyrus from Hong Kong,

I am currently in the 5th Year, my third Year at Truro School. I chose Truro School because of the opportunities this school gives and the coastal and natural environment we are surrounded by.

I especially like the sports and DT departments. The sports department is located in the SBA centre, which has many facilities, including indoor ballgames and a swimming pool. Games and PE lessons also include outdoor sports such as hockey, rugby, football and many others. The DT department has traditional and technologically advanced tools to step up our design thinking.

To everyone considering Truro School, I urge you to maximise all the opportunities you get here and learn all the skills you are interested in.

Boarding is like having a second home whilst living with your friends. During weekends, we usually go on trips such as water sports in summer, ice skating in winter or Christmas, horse riding, biking and many other things.

Lessons here are 45 minutes per period, consisting of double and single periods. Besides games and PE lessons, clubs are also available before, at lunchtime and after school. These clubs are all related to either sports, arts, music and academia.
