School Sports Hall

No expenditure in labour or money has been grudged to make the equipment complete, and, to all appearance, a highly successful result has been attained. An invaluable addition has been made to the school premises, and … will result, not in broken limbs, but in broken records.

During the School’s time at Trennick Lane the sports hall has been reinvented on several occasions. This article was originally written to coincide with the opening of the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre in 2013.

When the school chapel was completed in 1928 the sports hall was moved to the room above it. This later became a common room for the Lower Sixth, and is now the Heseltine Gallery.

The Truro School Identity

Our school motto, Esse Quam Videri (to be, rather than to seem to be), captures the essence of our identity and is defined by the 5 C's below. Underpinned by strong Christian principles, we are a caring and inclusive community which values, nurtures and develops each individual.
