A group of Old Truronians from the Class of 1980 gathered in Truro recently. The occasion was prompted by Colin Groves who travelled from New Zealand for work, providing the perfect opportunity to bring the group together at the Thomas Daniell (“our old haunt when known as The Daniell Arms”), followed by a curry.
Alison Morton told us: “Colin travelled the furthest with others from Monaco/Scotland/Tregony via USA/London, Devon and Portscatho! A group of us have met for the last 25 years in December for lunch in London and always keen to meet up with other Class of ‘80 friends.”
Those pictured include Colin Groves, Steve Lane, David Williams, Neil “Billy” Richards, Paul Ferris, Catherine Quinney, Melanie Way, Alison Morton, Luke “Dagger” Dunstone, Tim Green, and avoiding the camera was Stuart Sly.
Alison is happy for her email to be shared, so if any OTs wish to keep up with the group – contact [email protected] in the first instance to be reconnected.
