Words and Musical Interludes 2026

A huge well done to all our finalists and musicians who took part in this year’s Words and Musical Interludes event, held in the Lovett Building on the Thursday before half term.

The afternoon showcased a wonderful blend of poetry recitals and musical performances, filled with creativity, confidence, and plenty of humour to entertain the audience.

Judged by Mrs Racheal Vaughan, we are incredibly proud of all of the pupils who all performed brilliantly and represented themselves with confidence and flair.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates, followed by a spirited and memorable rendition of Cornwall My Home.

A big thank you goes to all the pupils and staff who helped make the afternoon such a success, and to the parents who came along to support.
