Pupils and staff dressed to impress today for the penultimate day of Book Week. The much-loved Wednesday fancy dress tradition brought a buzz of excitement, as children arrived eager to see what creative costumes their friends had chosen.
Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed a wide range of engaging activities, lessons, talks and sports, all while proudly wearing their costumes.
From Nursery through to Year 6, the school was filled with animals of every kind, including a huddle of penguins, as well as sharks, bears, jellyfish, dinosaurs, sheep, chickens, leopards, bunnies and frogs.
Teaching staff also joined in the fun, with the usual Book Week roundabout theatrics. Today featured Dr Dolittle, brought to life by Mr Morse. Even our school dog Tayto joined in the fun for his final week before retirement, dressed as Paddington Bear.
We hope everyone has had a memorable day and that you enjoy looking through the photos of our children’s fantastic efforts.
