Values Award Winners 27.03.26

Congratulations to this week’s Values Award Winners and Head’s Commendation Winners who were announced at the last Whole School Assembly.

Year 7: Charlie O and Noah W
They both showed impressive confidence as they asked thoughtful, well-phrased questions during last night’s event with German children’s author Cornelia Funke at Waterstones. Noah even posed his question in German, a moment that drew admiration from everyone present, including the author herself.

Year 8 : Jenny V and Atti G
who, with the comedic timing of Dromio and Antipholus kept the show going with their quick wit as a fellow cast mate found themselves entangled in their costume backstage. With the missing actor becoming more apparent these two improvised with ease keeping the audience laughing and engaged. Their creativity, teamwork, and calm under pressure meant that the show didn’t just go on…it went on brilliantly.

Year 9: Archie S
Archie took part in the raspberry pi coding challenge, where he confidently decided to enter at one of the more challenging programming levels. It was really great to see him enter the competition and to feel he is able to challenge himself at this level.  A great example of curiosity and independent learning.

Year 10: Ben H
Ben is always so polite, friendly and thoughtful, an absolute pleasure to have in the form.

Year 11: George K, Oliver S and Kai R
They stepped in to help out their classmates in the GCSE drama performance exam, having to learn extra scenes and lines in addition to their own performance pieces.  Their contributions were hugely appreciated and helped their classmates deliver excellent performances.

Year 12: Alfie B
courage – a charity abseil in London on the 19th March. He will be raising money for The London Ambulance Charity. Alfie will be climbing up and over Tottenham Stadium before abseiling down.

Year 13: Jack B and Isabel P
Jack B, for being a supportive and compassionate friend and classmate, as well as a polite and considerate member of our community, and Isabel P, for raising a health and wellbeing issue around vision.

Heads Commendation’s went to:

For being integral to the success of the Charity night. Thank you.
