Inspiring Futures for Open Day

Despite the blustery skies, there were warm smiles all round as we welcomed prospective pupils from 16 months old through to Sixth Formers, for tours with pupils, conversations with staff, and the chance to discover what makes Truro School such a unique and welcoming community for all.

“My partner couldn’t see the benefits of an independent school education. But, having toured Truro School, he has been blown away. He knew he could expect excellent facilities, but he wasn’t prepared for how far this school goes to ensure that every pupil thrives.”

“I’m not sure how you achieve it, but I could sense a really inclusive community here. Every pupil seemed to be themselves and genuinely happy in their own skins. That is really special.”

“I’m just so excited to start in Year 7 now, I can’t wait to join Truro School.”

“A fantastic day and fully informative. Wonderful staff and lots of happy faces while touring parents. Well done to those who organised today.”

These are just a few of the comments we received from the 200 pupils and their families we proudly welcomed into Truro School for our annual Open Day event.

From footballers to budding geologists, day pupils to prospective boarders, musicians, dramatists, surfers, mathematicians, and more, we were delighted to introduce so many visitors to the rich academic and co-curricular life that makes Truro School shine so brightly.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for the Open Morning, as well as our incredible staff, pupils and prefects who showcased our school during the event.

If you were unable to attend, but would like to arrange a tour of the school, please contact our Admissions Team at [email protected]. For Prep Admissions, email [email protected].

Prospective pupils currently in Year 6 are invited to join us for a special activity morning on Saturday, 15 November. Please sign up here.
