Medical Provisions

Prep School

For up-to-date information on provision of medical care at the Prep School, please view the First Aid Policy on the Prep Policies page.

Senior School

The Medical Centre is open between 8.30am and 5.00pm on weekdays and the contact number is 01872 246020. Our nurses are Meisha Costa and Emily Miller and our Health and Wellbeing Lead is Mel Corden-Lloyd.

Following the completion of the medical questionnaire, medical care is provided on a day to day basis by our medical team. First Aid is provided when required, as well as treatment for minor ailments. Unless it’s a minor matter, the nurse on duty will let parents know, via a note, if their son or daughter is admitted to the Medical Centre or receives Medical attention.

Additional services are provided such as health interviews, co-ordination of immunisations, health education in assemblies and in the PSHEE programme, and the provision of first aid kits and advice.

The Truro School Identity

Our school motto, Esse Quam Videri (to be, rather than to seem to be), captures the essence of our identity and is defined by the 5 C's below. Underpinned by strong Christian principles, we are a caring and inclusive community which values, nurtures and develops each individual.
