‘The Amazing Advent Calendar’- Year 1 and 2 Play

A big thank you to all the staff, Year 1 and 2 pupils, and everyone involved in the two brilliant performances of ‘The Amazing Advent Calendar’ this week.

This thrilling nativity musical follows Nicholas Mistletoe as he tumbles back in time to the days surrounding the birth of Jesus.

Dressed in his pyjamas and slippers, Nicholas is intrigued to find himself in Bethlehem at the time of the infamous census. Can he make it to the stable to observe the newborn baby, meet the shepherds on the hillside and the Three Kings with their famous gifts, or will the Roman soldiers evict him from Bethlehem? Either way, how on earth is he going to get back home …

It was lovely to see all the children performing with such confidence and courage and showing the audience just how hard they’ve worked.
