1939-1945 War Memorial

The memorial was unveiled on 4 July 1948 and described in the school magazine as

‘of dark green Italian marble mounted on a black base approximately six feet by three feet. The lettering is in gold and the School crest in colour. Like the Vinter Memorial it was designed by Rev. G. Wyon of Newlyn.’

Six names were omitted from the memorial: D.D. Audley, D. Donahue, R.J. Ingham, J. St A. Jewell, E.B. Martin and J.B. Poad.
