Zoe Curnow

Having grown up in Cornwall and played for many years in several county youth groups, Zoe spent a year as a bassist in the National Youth Orchestra. She went on to study Geography at Cambridge and was fortunate to perform in many concerts across the University alongside some outstanding musicians, many of whom now have eminent musical careers.

From dabbling in music administration as a student, Zoe fell into producing musical theatre and on graduating was employed by the University to run their ADC Theatre. This led to a career in Theatre Management including senior manager positions at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester and the Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke. Whilst working in Basingstoke, Zoe performed with several orchestras in and around London and as a regular player in the Surrey Opera orchestra.

Since moving back to Cornwall in 2006, Zoe works as General Manager of the Minack Theatre, plays regularly with many Cornish orchestras, coaches for the Cornwall Youth Orchestra ad teaches the bass.
