The Year 5 Orienteering at Idless was a memorable afternoon.
The children were divided into 12 groups and followed a course of controls, which required good teamwork and careful map reading. The majority of pupils were fortunate – and finished successfully before the torrent of rain struck at the end of the afternoon, with some pupils and staff receiving a real drenching. Clearly, this added to the sense of occasion, with pupils sharing their experiences on the bus journey home!
