Year 5 – John Muir Award

Year 5 have created atmospheric and persuasive short films to explain the importance of wilderness areas. As part of their John Muir Award projects, pupils could produce written reports, blogs, recordings or films to express their views.

The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places. It encourages awareness and responsibility for the natural environment, in a spirit of fun, adventure and exploration.

The Award is the educational initiative of the John Muir Trust. Four Challenges are at the heart of each Award; discover – explore – conserve – share.
