On Friday evening all year 4 pupils stayed at school to work together in a number of activities ranging from shelter building, treasure hunts, natural flag printing of course marshmallow roasting and a sing-a-long around a camp fire. After a ‘good’ night’s sleep they cooked their own breakfast before riding in the school buggy and playing giant games. They worked together in teams to put up and take down their tents and generally had a great experience.
On Monday pupils were out and about again, this time to Perranporth. They looked at human and physical geographical aspects of the tourist coastal town and were also privileged to have a talk from the RNLI staff on duty. Plenty of sun cream and water were on hand throughout the hottest day of the year so far and children were pleased to receive a lolly at the end of the day!
